About Us

Palmetto State Properties was started as a real estate sales company. We still offer high value and outstanding service representation for buyers and sellers as you can see. In 2009 Gary Short, the company's founder, along with Alisha Alfonso, who was the company's first broker-in-charge, began managing properties. They started with 7 properties and realized that by providing a higher level of service across the board - to tenants/residents, owners, vendors, and partners, they could provide a valuable niche in property management as a bonus to our home selling clients. Their cases have been diverse and the reasons for selling their homes all across the board. In some instances, we consulted with home sellers and opened their eyes to the opportunity of renting a property versus selling their home out right. Today, we manage 150+ properties and continue to separate ourselves with the service we provide.
